Subjects Taught
Third Grade

I grew up and attended school in Steele and moved to Ashville High School as a sophomore. I graduated from Ashville High School in 1996 with an advanced diploma. Go Bulldogs!!! I started my college career right out of high school at Gadsden State Community College but as the old saying goes, "Life got in the way." I received a chance to go back to school in 2009 and completed my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University, in 2011.

After graduating, I completed several long-term leaves and substituted for a few years. This is my third full year of teaching. I had a wonderful first couple of years here at Ashville Elementary and can't wait to get started on my third year with all my fabulous third graders.

I currently live in Ashville with my husband (Brad) and our two beautiful daughters (Tori & Briley). Tori is a sophomore here at Ashville High School and Briley will be 2 in October. My husband and I have been married for 16 years and lived in Douglas for most of that time. We moved to Ashville in September of 2013, and I am so glad we did. It sure is nice to be home.

In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family, scrapbook, and watch Alabama football! Roll Tide! I also love to watch the Bulldogs compete when I have a chance.
